Lost week...
Sorry I haven't posted here in awhile... Last Saturday while I was on vacation, I was out in the ocean with my family, and a wave hit me pretty hard making me fall... causing me to pull something in my back. It felt like I was electrocuted. Shock waves went up and down my spine. I was standing there in knee deep water, crying because it hurt to move. Fortunately, my brother was about 5 feet from me, and he helped me walk back on shore to our umbrella. I sat there for awhile, but then I couldn't get up the pain was so severe. Well, I couldn't sit there forever, so my brother helped me up out of the chair and I almost screamed in pain. I tried to walk back to the hotel room, as painful as it was... Going to the bathroom was horrible. Sitting up and down, moving over in the bed, just any slight movement was intense. I've never felt back pain like this before.
On the ride back home, it was severely painful... It was difficult sitting up in the chair or getting comfortable at all. My mom got me some BC powders in the meantime for the pain, until I was able to call my Dr. on monday to get some muscle relaxers. Those helped some, but basically knocked me out until today. Just even going to the bathroom felt like I ran a marathon and had to lay down. My whole body was moving in places trying to make up for the intense shocking pain on my right backside. I couldn't put any pressure on my right leg, because it would press up in that area on my back and cause the shocking pain again.
I still have pain today, but I feel a lot better. I'm not crying when I move anymore and I can at least get up and down in the bathroom without any trouble. Sitting in a chair for any extended period of time, does hurt quite a bit though. I'm just going to take a couple more days easy and then I can get back to work. I've been so frustrated through all of this... these past 6 days have felt so much longer than that!

OH I can totally relate - back pain is EXCRUCIATING! I BROKE my back 2+ years ago. It was 3 months of major pain killers, and it still hurts often - but I am lucky it was no worse.
Did you go to the doctor? Slipped disc?
I'll say prayers to the back gods for you.
