Hearty souls and sailors, ships and fishing, boats and islands,
The many millions of hands that produced a city from sweat.
The scrappy hard start of its' past mixes still today with the
proud architectures of the last centuries and it's new children.
Brick and cobblestone are a constant reminder underfoot, a time
when the ships ballast of brick became the very shell of the city.
The faces of its' people still echo the lineage of its anglo beginnings.
A genuine spirit still prevails there in a land where weather is harsh
and the better days are in short supply. A great pride prevails still!

Visit Dog Bone Art in Washington DC at the end of September..the 28th to be exact. The event is at a place called the Marie Reed Learning Center. I was accepted to the Crafty Bastards show down there. I was surprised, didn't think I'd get in at all since I heard it's tough. Now hopefully I can find someone to go with me!

They don't want you to think it is possible, but it is possible if we insist on it!
